Being part of Ardent Grove is something I am immensely proud of and that brings me so much joy! I consider it to be one of our greatest privileges and responsibilities as clinicians to provide quality mental health care to the community, either in the form of counseling or community engagement, in a way that is accessible and welcoming to all. Working to reduce mental health stigma, creating a warm and embracing environment, and providing exceptional care that is attuned and inclusive are at the heart of our mission. I am especially thrilled to lead our training program as this allows us to mutually benefit from contributing to a legacy of high-quality clinicians as well as life-long learning from our trainee's diverse and individual backgrounds.
I am passionate about our work at the Ardent Grove Foundation. Good therapy is often a luxury expense and I am so thrilled that we can deliver high quality, trauma informed care to anyone regardless of socioeconomic status. I am so grateful to our therapists who are so passionate about the work they do and excited for our mission to create waves of healing in the Denver-area community.
I am excited for the Denver community to gain the benefit of high quality, trauma-informed therapy services accessible to all. Supporting new parents and survivors of trauma is incredibly important, and Ardent Grove has an opportunity to make a big difference in people’s lives through this work. Additionally, I am excited about the excellent training opportunity for future psychologists to learn how to integrate EMDR and trauma-informed care into their work throughout their careers.
I grew up in a small town in southern Tennessee and am proud to continue to call Tennessee my home. My most important job is being a military wife and a mom to two sweet little girls. We have been blessed to be stationed in Clarksville, TN at Fort Campbell for the last 16 years. Originally, I moved to Clarksville to attend Austin Peay State University where I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Communication. After graduation, I began working for Children's Services where I worked with at risk children and families until my second daughter was born. That job sparked a strong desire for service. I currently volunteer at a community lay counseling center, as well as several nonprofit military organizations. About a year ago, I began looking for a way to get back in the job market and when I learned about KEPT IN LINE I knew that I had found the right fit. This company provides Virtual Assistants to businesses, giving them the time to focus on what they love in order to grow, by allowing me to do what I love: keeping them in line with organization and in the process, helping them expand their growth. The goal of this business is to support practices with their administrative needs in order to clear valuable time for what matters most.
I love helping people in any way that I can! It is an honor to work with passionate individuals and to be a part of an organization that is dedicated to providing high quality and accessible services and important education to the community. I take pride in my role at the Ardent Grove Foundation and am proud to support an organization that helps all people on their path to wellness.
Please note, we are not a crisis center. If you are needing immediate help or having thoughts or feelings of self-harm, please call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest ER.
