Set in a beautiful garden, this lively event will feature delicious brunch bites, mahjong tables for all skill levels, joyful yard games, and thoughtfully curated moments designed to spark laughter, connection, and community.
By joining us, you’re helping ensure that mental health support remains accessible and uninterrupted for those who need it most. Your presence helps Ardent Grove continue walking alongside individuals and families who need ongoing care, compassion, and stability.
Whether you come to play, mingle, or simply soak up the garden glow, this is an afternoon to celebrate connection, cultivate joy, and make a meaningful difference - together!

There are TWO TICKET TYPES for this event, which can be purchased here:
Garden Party Ticket – $75
Enjoy brunch, yard games, and all the fundraising experiences without playing mahjong. Relax in the garden, connect with friends, and celebrate the joy of community!
Mahjong Ticket – $100
Join the fun at our mahjong tables! Includes brunch, yard games, and access to all fundraising experiences. When you purchase, you can choose your seat level - Beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced - so everyone can play at their comfort and skill level!
We will make every effort to accomodate individual skill levels. If tickets at your skill level are no longer available, please reach out so we can explore options!

What is the Garden Party & Mahjong Fundraiser?
A joyful, garden-style gathering celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month featuring garden party activities, mahjong play, brunch bites, and yard games - all in support of accessible mental health care through Ardent Grove!
Do I have to play Mahjong?
Not at all! Mahjong is just one of many ways to enjoy the event - there’s no requirement to play. If you'd like to attend but not play Mahjong, please purchase a Garden Party Ticket.
What if I don’t play mahjong - will there be something for me to do?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to relax and mingle in the garden, enjoy brunch and beverages, participate in garden games or simply soak up the joyful atmosphere and good company.
Is my ticket or donation tax-deductible?
Yes. A portion of your ticket price and all additional donations are tax-deductible. A receipt will be provided.

MAHJONG SPECIFIC FAQs
Do I need to know how to play mahjong to play?
Not at all! Mahjong tables will be available for all experience levels, including Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced, which you can select when purchasing your ticket. Beginners will have a friendly instructor at their tables and Intermediate players will have guides available if needed. The vibe will be relaxed and inclusive - perfect if you're new to mahjong or just want to give it a try! All are welcome!
What type of mahjong will be played?
We’ll be playing American Mahjong, with standard rules.
Do I need to bring my own mahjong set?
Nope! We will provide all necessary materials for you to play!
Can I request to sit with friends?
Yes! When purchasing tickets or registering, you’ll have the option to note seating requests, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Will there be instructors or helpers available?
Yes! Experienced players and volunteers will be on hand to help explain rules, answer questions, and keep things moving smoothly.
