We offer a format of psychological assessment known as collaborative therapeutic assessment services for both children (age 8 and up) and adults. This format of assessment is a brief, intensive treatment model that can help identify emotional, learning and attentional conditions, and can also help identify a path for moving forward. We use the data and experience of the assessment to strengthen your self-understanding and as a powerful tool to learning what might be getting in the way of you living your best life. Assessment can help answer questions you may have about yourself or your child, such as:
· Do I have a Learning Disorder?
· Do I have ADHD?
· Why do I have so much difficulty in my relationships?
· Why am I feeling stuck in reaching my goals?
· Do I have Depression or Bipolar Disorder?
· How can I better understand myself?
Our assessment services are offered on our sliding scale and start at $1,000. Your fee will be discussed with your clinician directly. It is our goal to make these services as accessible as possible. We are happy to provide superbills for out-of-network coverage. It is the responsibility of the client to determine this coverage. We also accept insurance (Medicaid: CO Access, CO Community Health Alliance, Rocky Mountain Health Plans, and United).
Assessments at Ardent Grove typically start out with an Intake Session(s), followed by a number of Testing Sessions, and then a Feedback Session, where the outcomes of your assessment will be discussed with you at length and where you will be provided a Report of the findings and recommendations. We occasionally recommend additional follow up sessions as well. This process takes about two months from start to finish. We may suggest some light involvement from people who know you well including partners, friends, teachers, coworkers, etc., although this may not be necessary.
Our assessment services are most often held in-person at our Cherry Creek location. There may be opportunity to hold some sessions virtually through our HIPAA compliant telehealth platform, Zoom. Sessions are typically between 45 - 120 minutes, although there may be opportunity to meet for longer sessions with your therapist if that is what is needed. Frequency and scheduling of sessions will be determined with your assessor directly.
