Approximately 78% of our clients used Medicaid. For those paying out of pocket, affordability continued to be a priority: half of our private-pay clients paid $25 or less per session and the average cost per session was just $39.
25% of those we serve indicated that their household income was $20,000 or below.
These numbers reflect our unwavering commitment to ensuring that high-quality, trauma-informed mental health care is within reach for all.

Ardent Grove’s Training Program continued to grow as a hub for thoughtful, high-quality clinical education. We welcomed six new predoctoral trainees and three postdoctoral clinicians from across the country, and proudly launched our clinical internship program with two inaugural interns. Alongside this growth, we expanded our educational offerings by introducing specialty training programs in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, while continuing our robust core curriculum in Eating Disorder Care, EMDR, and Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. Together, these efforts reflect our commitment to cultivating skilled, compassionate clinicians equipped to serve diverse communities with depth and care.

Throughout 2025, Ardent Grove continued to show up beyond the therapy room, engaging with our community through education, connection, and care. Our team participated in Women Powering Change and GlobalMinded, contributing to conversations centered on equity, leadership, and mental health access. We offered webinars for new and expecting moms, creating supportive spaces for learning, reflection, and connection during early parenthood.
We were proud to host interactive booths at Pride and the Breastival, meeting community members where they are and sharing resources in affirming, accessible ways. We also facilitated trauma-informed yoga sessions, blending movement and mindfulness to support nervous system regulation and healing. Together, and through many additional moments of outreach and collaboration, these efforts reflect our commitment to being an active, responsive, and trusted presence in our community.

Ardent Grove was honored to receive three additional years of grant support from Caring for Denver, strengthening our ability to provide accessible, community-centered mental health care across Denver.
We also received an additional year of funding from The Colorado Trust for our Accessible Care for EveryBody program, in partnership with the Eating Disorder Foundation, expanding access to specialized, community-based care for eating disorders and body image–related mental health concerns.
Additionally, the Lanig Family Fund awarded seed funding to support Ardent Grove’s expansion to more fully serve individuals with spinal cord injury and spinal cord dysfunction, while investing in clinician education to ensure care that is informed, inclusive, and responsive to the unique needs of this community. Together, these partnerships reflect our shared commitment to equity, innovation, and reaching those too often left without access to care.
Finally, we were also deeply grateful to our community for the success of our third annual fundraiser, A Night of Healing and Hope, which raised over $70,000 in support of accessible, trauma-informed mental health care. Together, these milestones reflect the power of partnership, generosity, and a shared commitment to care that meets people where they are.

Ardent Grove remains one of the only training opportunities to learn and utilize EMDR.
This year we also rolled out specialty trainings in the areas of Infant and Early Childhood Care, Eating Disorder Care through our partnership with the Eating Disorder Foundation, and advanced-EMDR consultation.

We were honored to become a Caring for Denver Grant recipient, which will allow us to grow our staff and increase therapy and assessment services across the community!
We also hosted our annual fundraiser at Nocturne where we, with your generosity, raised over $50,000 to help make mental health care more accessible to those who need it most!
In 2022, we served 140 clients over 1700 therapy visits. 11% of our client population was 18 and under, 41% was between 18 and 35, and 43% was between 36 and 55. 70% of therapy services were offered at a scholarship rate, with the average cost of session being $28.
We brought on seven new clinical trainees including our first postdoctoral clinician. Each of these providers has been EMDR trained while with us. We strive to embody a strong commitment to one another, to Ardent Grove, and of course, to our work. Ardent Grove offers one of the only opportunities to learn and implement EMDR in a training setting.
Ardent Grove participated and led eight community programs across the business, hospitality, financial, and perinatal care communities and sectors. Topics included stress management, trauma, postpartum grief and loss, and perinatal mental health.
We are so proud to now be accepting Medicaid as this helps to support our mission of offering accessible mental health care to all! We continue to provide low-cost, self-pay services on a sliding scale to serve those without Medicaid.
